Information we collect

How we use it

To provide the service — sending one-time passcodes so you can log in, delivering shift-related operational notifications you’ve consented to, and supporting the retention and shift-operations features your employer uses. We do not use your information for advertising.

SMS / mobile information

With your consent (given at hire), we send the login codes and operational notifications described in our SMS Consent terms. No mobile information — including your phone number or SMS opt-in — is sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share it only with the service providers that help us deliver the messages (see “Sharing”), and only for that purpose. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.

Sharing

We share information only:

We do not sell your personal information.

Retention

We keep your information only as long as necessary to provide the Service and to meet our legal, tax, and compliance obligations, after which we delete or de-identify it. Records we are required to keep, such as your consent to receive messages and any opt-out request, are retained for as long as the law requires, so that we can document your consent and honor your choices.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect your information.

Your choices & rights

You can reply STOP to end CAIT SMS at any time. To access, correct, or delete your information, contact privacy@meetcait.com; we honor the rights available to you under applicable law. If you are a Texas resident, this includes the right under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act to confirm whether we process your personal information, access it, correct it, delete it, and receive a copy of it.

Children

CAIT is a workplace tool, used only by the employees and managers of restaurant operators. It is not directed to anyone under the minimum legal working age in the jurisdiction where their employer operates — currently 14 in Texas (Texas Labor Code Chapter 51).

Changes

We may update this policy; the effective date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be posted here.
